Welfare to Work

The Introduction of the Welfare to Work package by the Federal Government on 1 July 2006 sees significant changes for the Social Security system. It will impact rules and benefits for the disability Support Pension, Newstart and the Parenting Payment. More information is available from the Welfare Rights Network website.

Is a plain English web guide to legal issues around health and life changes. It was produced for use in Victoria only as some of the laws will be different in other states of Australia. Chronic illnesses bring about lifestyle changes.
