Our Services

Parkinson’s Australia is made up of a Board consisting of the Presidents of all the State and Territory Parkinson’s organisations. Our principal service is advocacy and to be the voice of people with Parkinson’s. As the peak nationwide agency, we represent the needs and interests of people with Parkinson’s to all levels of government seeking improved funding for services, research and awareness. Improving the understanding of Parkinson’s within the Australian community is recognised as one of priorities.

Parkinson's GP On-line Education Program

Parkinsons Australia and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM)
are pleased to announce the release of the 'General Practitioners Guide to Parkinson's

This 6 hour online educational course is designed to help GPs address the issues of most
concern when confronted with a patient who may have Parkinson's Disease

The course caters for learners with different levels of knowledge and experience in this
area, while also providing flexibility in the way it can be used.
