Required eligibility to participate in the trial
  • People with idiopathic Parkinson’s aged 18 years or older
  • Able to speak and comprehend English
  • Able to stand for 1 minute and walk for 10 meters without any support.
Restrictions/ineligibility  

  1. Any known general health condition likely to interfere with your walking and balance
  2. Cognitive impairment which may preclude the possibility of providing fully informed consent to enrolment
  3. Diagnosis of any Parkinsonism.

How can I get involved? Participants will be asked to attend and complete the following research activities if they agree to participate:

  1. An online survey that will take up to 30 minutes to complete.
  2. Clinical, mobility and balance assessments will take up to 110 minutes to complete at the Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA).
