In April 2026, Jack set out to run 160km in 24 hours – a grueling backyard ultra – to raise funds for Parkinson’s Australia in honour of his Mum, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s six years ago.

Watching a loved one navigate the daily challenges of this condition is a powerful motivator. For Jack, every lap of the course was a tribute to his mum and a step toward funding research into a cure for Parkinson’s, which affects her quality of life every day. The challenge was not just physical – it was deeply personal.

Jack’s effort is a heartfelt act of love, and a reminder that behind every fundraiser is a story, and behind every story is a reason to give.
