The 2025 Connections Travel Grant is designed to support people living with Parkinson’s* in Regional, Rural, and Remote (RRR) areas of Australia to attend the 2025 Parkinson’s Australia National Conference in Canberra.

The grant covers eligible travel costs, such as transportation to and from Canberra, accommodation, and other travel-related expenses. This can significantly reduce the financial burden of attending the conference.

The conference provides a unique platform to connect with experts, researchers, and other individuals living with Parkinson’s*. These connections can be invaluable for gaining new insights, sharing experiences, and finding support.

The conference features sessions on the latest research, treatments, and strategies for managing Parkinson’s. Attending these sessions can help you stay informed about the latest advancements and improve your quality of life.

The conference offers tailored sessions for caregivers and people living with Parkinson’s, focusing on wellbeing, symptom management, and supports like NDIS. These sessions can provide you with practical tools and emotional support.

If you live in an RRR area, the Connections Travel Grant can help you overcome the geographical and financial barriers to attending this important event. It’s a great opportunity to gain knowledge, make connections, and find support in a community of people who understand what you’re going through.
