2024 for Parkinson’s Australia was a new start…

You may have noticed that Parkinson’s Australia had been in a kind of hiatus for a while, during which a new structure was implemented. We relaunched as Parkinson’s Australia Limited (PAL) in 2024 with Olivia Nassaris at the helm as CEO, National Advocate & Changemaker and a board with directors of old hats and new blood.

In 2024, we launched a new structure, tagline & brand:

  • structure = state & territory Parkinson’s organisations are separate from our national organisation and from each other
  • tagline = National Advocacy. Connection. Awareness. are our promises to the community. We know other organisations concentrate on research or providing local supports, so we concentrate our efforts lobbying at a national level, bringing you a face-to-face conference and rebranding our websites and writing our infosheets in our new empowering voice with peak body reviewers.
  • brand = both PAL and the Young Onset Parkinson’s eXchange (YOPX) have taken on a clean bold look, refreshed for this new era of Parkinson’s Australia.
